The Mobile SPCA Memorial Garden

     Be a part of the Mobile SPCA Memorial Garden.  You can honor or memorialize a pet, friend, or family member with a beautiful, permanently engraved brick.  Brick sales have begun and will continue until at least 500 bricks have been sold.  Once the Memorial Garden has been completed, everyone who has purchased a brick will be invited to a dedication ceremony and reception.  Bricks are 4" x 8" and can have up to 3 lines of type, 14 characters per line.  Bricks are $40 each and are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.  If you would prefer, benches and trees will be offered at a later date.  For mor information, please contact the Mobile SPCA office at (251) 633-3531 or email janine@mobilespca.org.

If you have been following the news lately, then you have probably seen the devastating fires in Southern California.  Both humans and animals have been displaced due to this horrible disaster.  San Diego County has been hit the hardest and their shelters will need lots of help as they try to assist in recovery efforts.  If you would like to help, here is a direct link to the San Diego Humane Society:  www.SDHumane.org  Click on the "Firestorm 2007" link at the top of the page.

American Red Cross

Since pets rely on their human caretakers for survival, I have also included a link for the San Diego Chapter of the American Red Cross.  I'm sure they would appreciate any help they can get as they also try to assist in recovery efforts.
